Don’t Become a Success!

The reason why we want to be a success is for other people to respect us. Does it really make a difference whether we are a “success?” What matters is that we bring value to this world. If that requires that we be successful, so be it. However, our desire shouldn’t be becoming a success. Imagine how much less in-fighting and back-stabbing would exist within groups if this was the mindset taught. No one said this more succinctly than Albert Einstein.

Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.
