Most of us bring unnecessary drama into our lives. Drama helps us feel alive, responsible and reactive. What the drama truly serves as is a distraction.
Their’s an art to “cutting to the chase.” It’s the ability to see what’s truly going on and respond to the reality as opposed to getting caught up in the fictitious reality, the drama.
In many ways, this is the greatest challenge of life. Discover what is real, discover what is only a distracting dressing. Differentiating between what is shiny and what truly shines. Once we make this discovery, we can begin living in reality.
When we meet someone, can we see through the physical impression to their true self? When we experience a moment, can we appreciate it for what it is and not for what it says about us or how it makes us feel?
Be wary of the drama, it isn’t reality, it’s a distraction from reality.
