Be Impressive, Don’t Impress

I love this quote:

I would add that the more we are focused on impressing others, the less impressive we are. By living life true to ourselves, we become impressive. Arguably, our greatest distraction in life is our desire to impress others and gain their acceptance. In doing so, we are giving our true selves up and become another unimpressive life. It’s when our unique self shines that we become impressive. Our unique self can only shine when we live a life true to ourselves.
